III. From the PID Controller below and based on our software simulation,
determine the following parameters.

1. What is the value of our set point?

The setpoint value SV is approximately 3.5 m³. So, whenever the Value of Process Variable PV exceeds the
SV, the PID controller algorithm attempts to return it to the SV limit of 3.5 m³, so keeping the system under
control.

2. What is the value of the final output in m3?

Based on the information provided, if the Setpoint value (SV) and Process Variable value (PV) are both 3.5
m³, and the control curve specifies a final opening valve of 40%, the final output in m3 would be 3.5 m³.

3. What is the final opening in percent of the valve?

The valve's final opening has been defined as 40%.

4. Based on the Control curve below, how many minutes the final parameter is
achieved and stabilized by the PID controller having 40% opening of the valve?

The control curve specifies a stabilization time of 35 minutes to achieve a 40% opening of the valve. This
suggests that it takes 35 minutes for the parameter to reach and stabilize at a 40% valve opening.
