The Murder of Abby Choi: A reaction paper

"The saddest thing about betrayal is that it never comes from your enemies". Greed pursuits wealth and
power even at the expense of someone who once became the greatest love of our lives.

On 24th of February 2023, a few days after her disappearance, the headless corpse of 18-year-Old Abby
Choi was discovered at the picturesque coastal village of Lung Mei Tsuen in Hong Kong, some of her body parts
were hidden inside a refrigerator, some of which are cooked, and some have not yet been found. A meat slicer
and electric saw were also found at the scene, according to police statements. She was reported missing after she
failed to pick up her daughter from school as she normally did. The gruesome death and dismemberment of the
model led to the arrest and criminal charges against her former in-laws, and the arrest of her ex-husband as he
attempted to flee Hong Kong by a high-speed beat with thousands of dollars in his pockets. The conflict started
and their relationship began to sour last year when Abby made plans to sell the Kandoorie Hill apartment where
the Kwongs stay. Though paid by her, it had been registered in the name of Alex's father, allegedly in order to
avoid nearly $8m Hong Kong in stamp duty. Even though she promised to find them a new home, her plan was
met with fierce resistance.

It terrifies me that we live in an era where this event could sadly occur. It seems absurd that someone could
commit such a horrendous crime without feeling any remorse. It's hard to believe that those responsible for the
heinous murder are the last people anybody would have expected to commit such a thing; people who are really
close to her heart. Thankfully, the murderers were apprehended, however, it breaks my heart knowing that there
are people who just care about themselves and defy God's commandments to humanity.

Up until now, the authorities are still searching for the model's body parts as they continue to investigate
the gruesome killing. However, one thing's for sure right now, betrayal hurts so badly and is one of the most
devastating experiences in life and one that's difficult to understand. "You don't know hate until your own family
comes against you".
"Can't Help Falling in Love": A review

"Can't Help Falling in Love" by Elvis Presley is a song full of rich harmonies. and the words and melodies
are incredible. Elvis wrote the song for his grandmother's birthday, and he gave her a music box that played this
song when it was opened. The song was released to the public on October 1, 1961, and was on the soundtrack to
the famous movie Elvis Presley starred in Blue Hawaii. Ever since then, the song has been played and loved by
generations.

It's just a love song, but I guess the bigger meaning is how much the inner feeling and instinct of love is and
that you can't choose whom you fall in love with. The song upholds falling in love by talking about popular facts,
criticism as well as true nature of love. People say love is where fools tread. But lover says, it may be, but I can't
help falling in love. It's as natural as the river flows into the sea, that's where it belongs to. Love is such a thing
one is ready to offer his/her.

From a musical standpoint, the harmonies and arrangement of the song are stunning. Pop Ballads such as
this song can trigger powerful emotions in people. They provide comfort and happiness to people. Plus, adding
the extra chill of harmonies and additional vocals can move a person, because they are blended beautifully. If you
enjoy acapella music this song is perfect. This song is such a classic, it puts a smile on your face and puts you in
a positive disposition. For all the helpless romantics out there, this song moves you so much that it even gives
you goosebumps and fills you with emotions.

Overall, the song is so simple and memorable. The tender lyrics are raw and relatable, which makes it
enduring popularity and is one of Presley's most covered and recorded songs of all time.

Personality and psychology are interconnected to each other because personality concerns
itself with the pattern of operation of psychological systems in an individual.

Individuals convey different psychological lives depending on their environment, social

status, among other factors. Nonetheless, just a few psychological behaviors are noticed easily. These
include personality, among others. Personality completes the organization of the psychological aspect
of an individual at any stage of his/her development and forms the sense of being human.

Personality is undeniably related to psychology since personality is a specific branch and

dynamic organization of psychological systems, and is directly affected through different personal
experiences and psychological changes.

Personality and psychology, however, the opposing argument asserts, are not related to each
other since psychology studies and understands mental processes and brain functions while
personality is a structure gathering emotional patterns. In spite of that, stating only the differences in
meaning is clearly an inadequate reason to conclude that these two doesn't have a connection.

This paper presents the idea that personality and psychology are related to each other.
Firstly, personality is in fact a specific branch of psychology. The study of personality is one of the
most significant topics of interest in psychology. It deals with determining how an individual's mood,
attitude and behavior concerns with the human nature of thinking. It tells us how a person will act in
different situations and why.

Secondly, personality is actually a dynamic organization of psychological systems. The

primary concern of personality lies on the most noticeable parts of a human's psychological life. Its
scope mainly focuses on the mental state of individuals It is a system that creates a person's
characteristics, patterns of behavior, thoughts and feelings. Among those usually shown concern are
people who are sad or happy, dull or smart, and apathetic or energetic, among others.

Lastly, characteristics of our personality is directly affected through different personal

experiences and psychological changes. Our thinking capabilities help us evaluate information to
find a sensible, well-supported conclusions while using our personality to communicate with others
to better understand and effectively integrate our emotions into our daily lives. Psychological
activities allow us to use our personality to perceive our surroundings.

Thus, with these propositions, this paper firmly asserts that personality and psychology are
interconnected to each other since personality is a specific branch and dynamic organization of
psychological systems, and is directly affected through different personal experiences and
psychological changes which forms an individual's sense of being human.
