Animals should not be used for tourist attractions, and there are a lot of reasons to support this
claim. Ranging from ethical concerns to environmental impacts. As humans we do not need to
explode animals for our own entertainment.
First, using animals for tourist attractions is often cruel and inhumane. Many animals are taken
from their natural habitats and placed in confined spaces or cages where they are forced to perform
for tourists. This can be extremely stressful for the animals and can cause them to exhibit abnormal
behaviors such as pacing, rocking, and self-mutilation. Furthermore, animals used for tourist
attractions are often subjected to harsh training methods, including physical abuse, to get them to
perform.
Another reason animals should not be used for tourist attractions is the impact it can have on their
health. Animals kept in captivity often suffer from a range of health problems, including obesity,
stress, and diseases not found in the wild. These health problems can not only be uncomfortable
for the animals, but they can also cause their death.
Lastly, using animals for tourist attractions perpetuates a harmful mindset that animals exist for
our entertainment. This view is not only incorrect, but it also ignores the key role that animals play
in our ecosystem. It is important to respect and appreciate animals in their natural habitats and to
recognize that they are not only here for our entertainment.
In conclusion, there are several reasons why animals should not be used for tourist attractions. It
is important to recognize that animals have their own needs and desires, and that they should be
respected and treated with compassion. As a society, we should work towards creating more
sustainable and ethical tourism practices that do not involve the exploitation of animals.
