Responsibilities:
Current requirements are in the areas of Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Management, which
have overall responsibility for sourcing, supply, scheduling and product delivery. We’re constantly
evolving and offer challenges and opportunities for both self, and organisational, development.
Strategic Sourcing works with external suppliers, both locally and globally, creating contractual
relationships to acquire products and services. It encompasses skills associated with
negotiation, contractual legal knowledge, and influencing on both cost optimisation and strategic
supplier selection.

Supplier Management operates alongside Strategic Sourcing to manage supplier performance


and development. This includes scheduling and receiving stock, controlling material flow through
production, vendor management of all future supply, and working with Operations to manage
inter-site supply. In addition, Supplier Management engages with external bodies on trade and
compliance.

The quality of our people is extremely important to us and, ideally, applicants should have a
strong academic background coupled with excellent interpersonal skills – communication,
teamwork, commitment, self-discipline, and high motivation. Qualifications:
Successful candidates will have a BSc/BA/LLB degree (minimum 2:2) in a Business-related
discipline and will have a general understanding of Supply Chain management strategies,
challenges and future opportunities.
