4. Buyer’s supply
* This does not include load of any utility and optional items.
ANCILLARIES (NON NEGOTIABLE PRICE WITH 10% HANDLING AND AFTER SALE SERVICE
CHARGE ADDED ON LANDED COST)
Maximum output is based on 2 MI LDPE clear film at maximum specified thickness and
lay-flat width, (BUR-2.5:1 to be maintained), 40ºC ambient temperature and air ring
temperature not exceeding 15ºC.
Lay flat range specified for the line is also dependent upon polymer and die size
purchased by buyer.
Lay-flat and thickness range is dependent upon polymer, polymer grade and die size,
(B.U.R.). For example, 10 micron film cannot be made out of fractional MI LDPE.
The maximum thickness specified applies to the minimum lay-flat width and maximum
lay-flat width specified applies to minimum thickness specified.
Film thickness variation is dependent on polymer, grade, base thickness, blow-up ratio,
overall line speed, die setting and other processing parameters. Under proper operating
conditions and 2 MI LDPE, thickness variation of ±8% or ± 5 micron, whichever is higher
can be achieved on 90% film periphery.
The specified optimum performance can only be achieved in proper commercial set-up
and few hours of stable running of the line.
Although we design our equipment to suit most of the buyer’s requirement, there are
several factors that can significantly influence the quality of the film and performance of
the line. These being extraneous factors, are not covered by our standard performance
specifications.
o Resin – bad batches, off-spec resins, change in additives or the use of resins
other than specified can produce poor film.
o Processing aids may be required to avoid melt fracture in the film which entirely
depends upon die gap and resin and resin grade.
Machines are designed for electrical supply to be 415 V + 5%, 50 Hz. In case of large
supply voltage fluctuations, the use of voltage stabilizer is a must.
Due to constant up-gradation and improvement in our machines, we reserve the right to
alter specifications without prior notice. It is possible that the machine covered by this
quotation is different from the one supplied earlier in terms of design and brands of
input.

4.3 For all practical purposes, delivery of the ordered machine will be construed as executed
no sooner the machine readiness intimation is sent to the buyer by seller.
4.4 The buyer agrees to arrange balance payment, nomination of transporter and transit
insurance and complete other commercial formalities as required, within a period of 15
days from the date of receipt of machine readiness intimation.
4.5 In case of delay by buyer in arranging for all of above (clauses 4.4) to effect delivery of
the ordered machine beyond a fortnight of its readiness, the seller reserves its right to
levy the storage charges at the rate of 0.5% per week of delay or revise the agreed price
at discretion of the seller.
4.6 Sellers are not responsible for any loss or damage of goods in transit and therefore it is
of immense importance that buyer covers the goods by a transit insurance policy.
4.7 After receipt of the machine and before installation and commissioning of the machine,
the machine should be fully covered and properly stored. Damages to the machine
during storage period will not be the responsibility of the seller.
4.8 The dismantling of machine at seller’s works actually takes some time and therefore
dispatch / containerization at seller’s works may take place approximately within a week
or so after the completion of commercial formalities by buyer as laid down above.
5. TRIALS:
5.1 The seller has developed a system of individual assembly testing according to which all
assemblies are tested prior to dispatch to comply with pre-defined stringent standards
and to ensure quick assembly and prompt start-up at buyer’s premises.
5.2 No trial can be conducted in seller’s premises. However the readiness of the machine
can be inspected by the buyer at his own cost provided 75% of the order value is
arranged by buyer prior to inspection.
6.1 Upon receipt of the Readiness Intimation and accepted Deputation Contract from the
buyer requesting engineer in prescribed format, sellers will depute its service engineer
at the earliest possible. The buyer should give at least 15 days notice about readiness.

of the line.
6.3 The buyer will have to provide all necessary tools and tackles, skilled and unskilled labor,
raw-material, utilities, measuring and other instruments, etc., required for erection and
commissioning of the line.
6.4 The round air fare for seller’s engineer/s based at Rajkot will be borne by the buyer.

the Buyer. The boarding and lodging in a reasonably good hotel and daily local
conveyance from the hotel to factory site for seller’s service engineer/s will be borne /
provided by the buyer.
6.5 In case any assembly, sub-assembly or component like gravimetric, automatic thickness
control, IBC etc. is/are used in the machine as input which is/are of European or
American origin and requires the services of a European or American technician, during
or after installation, the costs towards the same will have to be paid separately as per
norms prevalent in the country/ies of origin.
6.6 The buyer is requested to refer to seller’s general terms of conditions for engineer’s
charges and obligations of the buyer in respect of commissioning. Diem allowance
payable to service engineer is US$ 130/- per day per engineer.
7. CANCELLATION:
7.1 It is understood that the order once placed cannot be cancelled without payment of
cancellation charges, in addition to forfeiture of the advance paid by the buyer.
8. WARRANTY:
8.1 The seller warrants that the equipment / machinery - at the time of delivery - shall be
free from any defect attributable to use of faulty material provided the liability of the
seller shall be limited only to the replacement or repairing the defective part or parts
free of charge at seller’s options.
8.2 This warranty shall remain in force for a period of 15 months from the date of intimation
of readiness of the machinery at seller’s works for delivery to buyer or 12 months from
the date of bill of lading whichever occurs first. This warranty expressly excludes
replacement of consumables and parts worn due to normal wear and tear or
mishandling or accidents.
8.3 The electrical parts like heaters, contactors, MCBs, SSR, fuses, melt temperature and
pressure transducers etc. are not covered under this warranty.
8.4 The warranty on electric motors, gear boxes, frequency converters and all other bought-
out components used in the machine shall be extended to the buyer as received from
supplier of such components and for the period such warranty is extended to the seller
by the manufacturer / supplier.
8.5 It is mandatory to use water to be filtered to be free from solid particles in excess of
0.2mm diameter and should be soft with a pH value of 7 to 8. The problems arising out
of using bad quality of water in the machine are not covered by this warranty.
8.6 The life span of screw, barrel and grooved feed section depends on the abrasive
property of raw material being processed and hence cannot be specified or covered
under this warranty. Seller’s experience so far proves that these components have a life
span much longer than the warranty period.
8.7 However in case of any warranty claim arising out for any of above components in the
first quarter of warranty period, the seller undertakes to replace the component on FOC
basis, but claims arising subsequently will be compensated in proportion of the left out
period of warranty.
8.8 In all cases of free replacement of any part or components under warranty period, the
buyer will be liable to pay notional excise on the value of the part. While the part will be
sent by seller on freight paid basis, the customer should return the faulty / damaged
part on freight paid basis within 5 working days.
8.9 After commissioning of the machine, screw breakage / barrel scouring can only occur
due either to ingress of foreign particle into the extruder or cold start (insufficient
temperature) and hence the warranty clause in such cases will not be applicable.
8.10 During the warranty period the seller shall provide supervisory services of its technician
/ engineer as and when required. However, expenses towards round air fare and
boarding and lodging in a reasonably good hotel and local conveyance expenses of
seller’s engineer will have to be borne / provided by the buyer in addition to Diem
allowance worth US$ 130/- payable per day per engineer.
8.11 Further details on warranty clause and other terms and conditions can be found in
seller’s General Conditions of Sale attached herewith, which forms an integral part of
this quotation and consequent contract if any.
8.12 In case of doubt buyer can seek clarifications regarding warranty clause and items
covered there under from Seller’s Service Department.
