Activity 2
Direction: Answer the following questions based from your experience(s) in the course.

1. Why it is important to consider safety precautions and procedures in performing exercise?

It is because safety is always the priority. With this being implied, risk of accidents and injuries are
lowered. This will makes the activity fun and engaging for everyone, for they know that they are secure.
Not only that, but without problems happening mid-way, a smooth-flowing routine is produced.

2. What is the importance of warm up and cool down as an exercise?

It is important for your body, as for warm-ups, to not be “shocked” with the abrupt motions it will
be doing and, as for cool down, to “calm” your body down after series of movements. It also minimizes
muscle pain that often occurs after a rigorous routine, especially if it’s new to you or if you haven’t done
it for a long time.

3. Did you find exercising difficult? Why?

Yes, I find it difficult. First is because I am overweight and have a hard time moving. Second is my
lack of interest in sports, though I enjoy dancing and playing badminton casually. Last reason would be,
because I can’t properly schedule time for it.

4. Give at least 5 exercise routines that you are performing at home during this pandemic.

• Doing a one-minute plank once a day


• Dancing to songs with choreographies
• Buying things from stores nearby
• Doing subtle house tasks (sweeping, washing)
• Playing badminton
