INTRODUCTION
It is no doubt that living during a pandemic is hard. People everywhere have been
struggling to cope with this unfamiliar situation. Students are now studying in their homes.
Workers are either working in their own houses or, unfortunately, losing their jobs due to the
limit that is set by the policies to adhere to the concept of social distancing. Some of the
marginalized are still risking their lives to make a living outside for them to feed their families.
These are just some of the adjustments that people are experiencing today.
Among these changes is the requirement of wearing protective equipment for the people
to keep safe from the virus. This is the primary reason why I am proposing this project. If there
will be booths where free PPE can be found, everyone will have the chance of, at least,
protecting themselves in these trying times. Not only that, but it may also be useful on sudden
happenings, such as running out of alcohol or abrupt tearing up of mask. Through this paper, I
am humbly proposing to create booths of these equipment in my community, Brgy.
Concepcion, Plaridel, Quezon to help its people as well as to contribute to the Philippines.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

The project aims to construct booths where there are free masks and alcohol for
everyone in the community, aiding them to fight against the virus.
Specifically, it seeks to answer the following questions:

1. Is it relevant to create booths like this during a pandemic?

2. What are the effects of having these booths on the community and its people?
3. What are the differences between having booths like this to its contrary?

4. Do the booths help the community save money?

OBJECTIVES

1. Assist citizens in disinfecting and protecting themselves while outside.

2. Provide aid in keeping citizens safe from the virus.
3. Serve as immediate help for people who experienced unexpected situations.

4. Reduce the citizen’s expenses on such materials

CLIENTELE:
All residents of Brgy. Concepcion, Plaridel, Quezon

PROJECT SITE AND DATE

The proposed booths will be located from the Barangay Municipal Hall and from that,
there will a booth for every 500 meters away from the hall. The booths will be created in
February until they’re all fully built.

METHOD
For this project’s objectives to be achieved, the researcher will make a design for the
booths wherein the essentials will be put in and make a sample to test its strength. The booths
will be made of bamboo wood and some nails to create a compartment that is fit for the
materials. The researcher will seek help from the community leaders for possible financial
assistance for the project. Once approved, the finished booths will be put in their designated
areas. People of the community can access these and get the items without payment. As the
project continues, the researcher will refill the booth with essential materials every Thursday
and Sunday.

MATERIALS/RESOURCES

Bamboo Wood
Alcohol Bottles
Mask Packs

EXPECTED OUTPUT
As for the expected outcome of this project, people that are found to be not wearing
masks would decrease and will sanitize themselves more often, lessening the chance of transfer
of disease. It is also expected that the number of cases in the said barangay will be lower,
making it a safer place to live in. And since the materials are free, it is expected that people
will spend less on buying them.
