I. Project Proposal
A. May Pa Wi-Fi sa Aming Barangay

The purpose of this project proposal entitled “May Pa Wi-Fi sa

Aming Barangay” is to provide an Accessible Internet Connection to
Senior High School and College Students in different communities.

B. There is no specific location for which this project proposal is going to

happen. Proponents goal is to provide a solution that is applicable to all
communities. providing Internet Connection Support to Senior High School
and College Students Their community in the midst of the pandemic.

C. This project will continue until the Covid-19 pandemic is over or until face-
to-face classes resume. Because of issues with Internet connectivity or
data connectivity among low-income senior high school and college
students, this project proposal aims to provide internet access to students
enrolled in online classes. until the face-to-face mode of learning is
allowed to continue.

D. The group intends to collaborate with local government units and other
organizations. non-governmental organizations (NGOs) for funding and
assistance with the project. If possible, the organization will seek
sponsorship from an internet service provider. The funds raised from
sponsors will be used primarily for the event's expenses project.

E. The main beneficiaries of this project are barangays with students from
low-income families that cannot establish a decent internet connection.
There are two types of remote learning: Asynchronous (Module-based)
and Synchronous (Online class). The team prioritizes college and senior
high school students, that mostly go through online class, since these
students need a decent internet connection for online classes.
II. Rationale of the Project
The global spread of the Coronavirus (COVID - 19) has resulted in a
global health crisis. Many people's lives have been significantly affected.
People's daily routines have been disrupted as a result of the pandemic. Classes
and the learning cycle of students have been disrupted. Almost a year has
passed. because the Department of Education and the Commission on Higher
Education established the classes on October 24, 2020, using various learning
management systems such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet are a
few examples. Online classes, in addition to modular learning, are popular. the
only way to continue classes without jeopardizing one's life and in accordance
with the government has provided protocols.

"May Pa Wi-Fi sa Aming barangay” is the title of this project that aims to
assist and support students who are struggling to adjust to the new system.
individuals who are experiencing internet connectivity issues or who are using a
remote learning system are unable to afford to connect to the internet. This
proposal seeks to provide individuals with internet access. Connections are in
areas that adhere to health protocols. The initial Senior high school and college
students aged 16 and up will benefit from this project. (Last)

III. Description of the Project

The COVID-19 pandemic has substantially altered everyday life
throughout the world and has had a negative impact on a number of sectors,
daily operations, and resident quality of life. However, there are a number of
essential barangay services whose disappearance would be just as problematic
as the current pandemic. Particularly in the context of trash management, this is
important. Because of this, participant in this activity will collaborate in Barangay
Katipunan Bayani, Tanay, Rizal to solve the urgent problems of inappropriate
trash disposal in their locality. To raise awareness of current environmental
challenges, the barangay will be engaged in an activity that involves upcycling, or
creating something fresh out of rubbish that may be used in homes or as a
source of income.

Through this project, in-depth and comprehensive study has been

conducted to identify the most effective remedies for the environmental issues
the barangay is currently experiencing. A researcher will organize this activity
through the covered court of Barangay Kat-Bayani since it requires a larger
space and a wider distance because we are still complying to the COVID 19
Protocols. Five (5) Members of the Barangay Kat-Bayani or volunteers make up
the participants, and we'll also be visiting several schools, five (5) students to
pariticipate, to show them how to develop this eco-brick. The project will last just
one month. The duration of the activity will be between one and three (1-3)
hours, depending on how long the teaching takes. Eco-bricks are designed to
generate reusable, long-lasting construction blocks by utilizing the durability and
long life of plastic. The blocks will be attached to each other with "tire bands,
silicone, and cement" after being packed into the plastic bottles with a lot of clean
plastic. By compressing clean, dry used plastic inside a plastic bottle to a specific
density, an eco-brick is made. Eco-bricks can help address this urgent issue
because they provide us the opportunity to be accountable for the plastic we use
and how we use it. Plastics may be used to our benefit by creating buildings or
houses for the barangay rather of being seen as a problem. Furthermore, the
barangay's participants will be shown and instructed by the activity leader on how
to build a sturdy building out of their eco-bricks, such as a bench. In view of this,
a researcher developed a Tatak EB: Promoting Waste-Free Practices that would
enable individuals to learn about newly discovered ways of changing used
materials into usable things that can also give a reliable source of income when
the items are made to be available to the public.

IV. Objectives
In this chapter of the paper, we will evaluate the various goals and
objectives that the students aim for themselves during the activity. This project
aims to provide students with internet access within the classroom. Their
barangays are free of charge. This project aims to serve students aged sixteen
(16). and above all, our students at senior high school/tertiary level, who require
internet access. They require internet access for their online classes. The
project's goal is to assist students who are struggling. having difficulties and are
required. This project is expected to be visible with the proper allocation of funds
and budget. and visible results as soon as two (2) weeks.
This project meets the requirements and is considered plausible for the
following reasons:
 It is cost effective.
 It is feasible and sustainable in most of the areas intended to target.

 The project's objective will be managed to meet since it is common and

readily available to most of the country.
 The goal is estimated to be met within the next two weeks under controlled
conditions.
 The project's objective is to give away free internet modems, routers, and
receptors. provide senior high school students with free internet service
connections. to be used in their online classes; for research purposes; and
communication for projects; and curriculum-related activities

three Rs—reusing, reducing, and

several strategies to achieve this. It
seeks to advance the idea of zero-

barangay members a potential
sustainable livelihood program.

Brief Discussion and Teaching of 1-2 hours The barangay's members were
Eco Bricks and its importance taught the method as well as the
concept of the Eco-brick. By cutting
up plastics and other non-
biodegradable materials like
cellophane and Styrofoam, the eco-
brick is made. The plastic fragments
can then be packed tightly into 1.5 L
or 2.0 L plastic bottles using a sturdy
stick to create a structure that is as
solid as a block. Each barangay
member was given the responsibility
of building eco-bricks going forward,
and a researcher checked the eco-
bricks during the course of the
planned events. Furthermore, the
activity leader will demonstrate and
teach the barangay's participants on
how to build a sturdy building out of
their eco-bricks, such as a bench.
If there are any questions during the
program for our participants, they
are welcome to interact or ask them.
