 Proposed name of the business and the origin of it
 Name of the owners
 Brief description of the of the logo and tagline
 Reasons for why this is an attractive business opportunity
II. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY.
 Vision & Mission
 Business Model Canvass
 Target Market. Describe the customers of your product or service. Who are the people who would
want your product or service and are willing to pay for it? Are they mostly men, women or children?
Are they young or old? What type of work do they have? Are their incomes low or high? Where do
they live? Where do they presently buy or avail of such product or service? Are they in the rural
areas, in towns and cities, near your business or far away? Specifically, what segment are you
targeting? Who are the people or business companies who are likely to patronize your business?

III. MARKETING PLAN


A. Product
 Write down the products or services you intend to offer. Describe your product. How does your product
relate to the market? Why do you think it is new, unique, and different to the other existing products?
 Develop your “unique selling proposition” and “value proposition”. What makes you stand apart from
your competition?
 Write down how often and when your intended customers buy the product or avail of the service. Is it
every day, every week, every month, and every year during rainy season, in summer, on payday or after
the harvest?
 Describe other businesses, your competitors, who sell or offer the same or similar products or services.
What is special about their product or service? Are your competitors able to meet the needs of the
market? If not, how big is the unmet demand of the market?
 Write down the prices your competitors charge for a similar product or service.
B.Place.
 Will you sell directly to end-users? If so, how are you going to bring your product/service to them? Are you
going to use middlemen or distributors? If yes, how much commission or discounts will you give?
 Where are you going to locate your business? Why did you choose this particular site?
 Draw a location map of where you intend to put up your business. It will be good to show landmarks and
access your routes.
 Draw a layout plan of your establishment.
C. Price.
 From the information you’ve collected, establish strategies for determining the price of your product.
D. Promotion.
 How will you attract buyers? How will you promote your product? Will you advertise in newspapers, radio
or TV? Will you use posters, flyers, signboards, etc.? Will you have promotional gimmicks? How much will
you spend for these promotional efforts?
IV. PRODUCTION PLAN.
A.Manpower
 State the people behind the company and their position and responsibilities.
B.Materials.
 Give product specifications of your packaging (size, weight, dimensions, ingredients, brand name, etc.)
C. Machine.
 State the equipment or machine used in the production and marketing of goods
D. Methods.
 Write down the step by step process on how the product was converted from raw materials to finished
goods
