VMware Virtualization and Hyper Converge Technology

ACTIVITY OBJECTIVES:

 Inform students on the background of Network Securities

 Provide students knowledge Hyper Converge Technology and Network Security.
 To learn what are role of Network Security in the Industry as well as Hyper Converge Tech.

A. Brief Description/Summary of the Activity

The event was held last March 16, 2019 at NCST Main Building attended by the fourth year
students from the Computer Studies Department headed by the subject adviser, Ms. Geraldine
Macarilay. The said event started with registration of the attendees assisted by the selected
members of the group which then after, started the discussion immediately.

After the registration of attendees comes the two speakers which is Ms. Mayrine Grace Derecho
along with her Co-worker Jenyvie Clariño whom introduced themselves about what they do in the
industry. They then proceed to the discussions which become an exciting activity due to prizes given
to the students who actively participated in the discussion.

The following are the topics being discussed in the seminar.

 Network Securities.
 Protocols in Securing datas.

 Importance of Hyper Virtualization Technology.

Certificate of Appreciation was given to the speaker by Mr. Christian Oab and the event ended
with full of knowledge and excitement to the next event of the Computer Studies Department. At
exactly 5:00 PM the event was ended with a closing remark from both the speakers, they then
thanked everyone who attended the seminar and also thanked the organizers for the successful
event.
