WHAT HAS THIS PANDEMIC TAUGHT ME

Basically, there were lots of things that changed as Covid-19 arise. We were set
under strict guidelines and protocols in order to help the community reduce the
positive cases day by day. Those restrictions hinder us from doing the things we
used to do during the normal days. We were locked and given less access to public
places, calling for huge celebrations, and even staying close to people we love to
ensure everybody’s safety.

This two years of pandemic taught me to value each moment. We never know what
will happen the next day. Am I going to be one of those who did not made it
through? Is my family still safe with the people that surrounds them? Am I safe in
going to my station? Will I be able to come home safe and alive? What will happen
to my kids if something bad happens to me? I was fearful. Treasure each second
because we don’t own our time.

Despite those, I became much stronger and committed to making our home the
safest place. I was more engaged to my job as to how I will be going to equip
myself in order to cope with the very fast transition from normal to new normal
setting. I became more responsible to my family, to my job being a teacher, to my
nation as a public servant, and I never lose hope and faith that God will soon end
this. Let us do our best and God will do the rest.
