EaSTE FAQs for QAED Punjab App

1. Access & Download

1. Who can access the EaSTE online course?


All PSTs from Primary and Elementary public schools across Punjab can access the EaSTE
online course.

2. How can I download the QAED mobile app?


Get the “QAED Punjab for Trainings” mobile app from your respective AEO. Make sure you
are connected to the Internet and have the required storage space in your phone.

3. What should I do, if I am unable to download the app?


Check your storage. You are required to have at least 40MB of storage for the “QAED Punjab
for Trainings” app to download. Additionally, check that you have a stable internet
connection and compatible software.

4. How do I login to the QAED Punjab for Trainings Mobile App?


Use your SIS (School Information System) username and password to sign in on the “QAED
Punjab for Trainings” Mobile App. Passwords may be case-sensitive; make sure the Caps
Lock key is turned off

5. What should I do if I am unable to login to the QAED Punjab App with my


SIS credentials?
You can login to the QAED Punjab app for EaSTE online course if you are a PST from Primary
or Elementary public school in Punjab.
Make sure you login SIS mobile app with your SIS credentials. In case you are still unable to
login, you may reset your password in SIS. Try to login to the “QAED Punjab for Trainings” app
with the updated password.
If you still face any issue logging in, contact your relevant trainer (AEO of your Markaz) for
further support.

6. The QAED Punjab for Trainings app is crashing, what should I do?
You may be using an older version of the device/software; you need Android v.10 or higher.
Try using the app with a device with the latest android version.

2. EaSTE Online Course for PSTs

1. How do I complete my course?


You need to complete all the required activities to finish the course

2. How do I complete the activities?


You have to attempt all the steps uploaded on the app to complete any particular
activity.

3. How do I verify that I have completed the course?


The progress of your activities and course will be shown on the main page. Make
sure that the progress of all the activities is 100 percent to finish the unit.

4. How can I access the Glossary?


You can access the glossary by clicking on the Highlighted words in the course
content
5. How can I join the online Community of Practice(COP) sessions?
You can join the online COP sessions by clicking on the Community of Practice link

6. How can I participate in the online class discussion?


In the discussion forum, you can participate by clicking on the reply button in the
desired task/discussion. You can also post questions in the discussion forums.

7. How to open pdf document?

Adobe Acrobat Reader should be installed in your device to open pdf document.

8. How to access and download certificate


PSTs can access and download the following certificates e.g.

a) Certificate for Participation


At 60% course completion PSTs can access and download the Certificate of
Participation.

b) Certificate for Achievement


On above 60% course completion PSTs can access and download the
Certificate of Achievement.

9. The videos are not playing, what should I do?


Make sure you are connected to the Internet, and the connection should be stable for
smooth video streaming.
10. Why I am not able to move to the next unit?

During the training, you will be able to see a new unit every Monday.

11. How much time should I spend on each unit to complete it?

Ideally, you can complete each unit by spending 3 hours on it

3. Instructions for AEOs to Troubleshoot

1. How do I ensure the completion of the course activities for all PSTs of my
Markaz?
AEOs can monitor the progress of all PSTs in relevant markaz by logging in to the
QAED Punjab app.

2. How do I troubleshoot login issues of PSTs of my Markaz?


Make sure PSTs are successfully logging into the SIS mobile app. In case they are
unable to login, they may reset password in SIS. Try logging to the “QAED Punjab for
Trainings” app with the updated password.

3. How can I post links for the online COP sessions?

By clicking on the Community of Practice (COP) link you can post your desired COP
session link.

4. How do I respond to questions in discussion forums?

By selecting the reply button in the discussion form you can respond to the desired
question.

5. How to open pdf document?

Adobe Acrobat Reader should be installed in your device to open pdf document.

6. I am having issues submitting the Attendance of online CoP sessions, what


can I do?

Ensure you have marked the attendance of all participants listed in QAED Punjab
app.
