We honor all people because they are created in the image of God.
Dignity can refer to one’s character or accomplishments. The word
dignified refers to a pattern of moral behavior that warrants praise
from others. We need to develop strength and dignity as attractive
qualities of our character – words of wisdom, the teaching of
kindness.
This image of God in humanity was broken or defaced because of sin.
But God, in His great love and mercy has restored this broken image
through the death of Jesus on the Cross. Jesus died for this image to
be restored with dignity and honor so that all humanity will do the
same to their fellowmen. Because the way we treat others who are
created in the image of God is the same way we treat God as creator.

enforce the law and maintain peace and order with
professionalism, zeal and dedication in keeping with the
highest ideals and traditions of service to our country and

WORK. Some people hate to do it. Some love to do it. Some
go to great lengths to avoid doing it. Some do it too much.
While there are many attitudes toward work one thing
remains constant: work must be done. Since creation every
one worked on depended on someone else’s work for their
survival. Work sets a person’s lifestyle – where you live,
where you sleep and eat, the time with family, even the
way you dress. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the
Lord and not for men (Colossians 3:24)
WHAT SHOULD BE OUR RIGHT MANNER FOR WORK?
1. We work with diligence. We should work with persistence,
conscientiousness and thoroughness. We should do our work
with the best of our ability.
2. We work with appropriate skills. We need to always improve our
skills. Excellence should be our mindset, wherein we always look
for ways to improve and develop ourselves.
3. We work with proper planning and priorities. It is not just busy
work but we need to know our priorities so we plan our day well so
what we accomplish has a significant impact.
4. We work with integrity. We work hard even if no one is looking.
We work with all honesty knowing that ultimately, we work to
please God.
5. We work with satisfactorily task completion. We work to finish
and be satisfied and take pride with our accomplishment.
6. We work with the goal of meeting expectations. We try to meet
the expectations of our superiors. We try to meet the expectations of
our team and the community we serve. We work also to meet our
personal expectations with our work.

SERVICE
1 Timothy 1:12 I thank him who has given me strength, Christ Jesus our
Lord, because he judged me faithful, appointing me to his service.
Intro.
What is the Philippine National Police Motto?
Answer: “TO SERVE AND PROTECT”.
In whatever profession we are in to serve people is ultimately a service to
God. God has called us as servants wherever he has placed us. Some are
called to be lawyers, to be in businessman and to be teachers but you are
called to be in the Philippine National Police as “Public Servants”. Apostle
Paul, in this verse, encourages young Timothy to stay where God has called
him. And at the end of our service and even in the judgment day, it is better
to hear God says, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” (Matthew 25:21).
Our work is a sacred trust given to us by God and in the end, we will give an
account to God on how we did our work. In Ecclesiastes 11:9 we read, “it’s
wonderful to be young! Enjoy every minute of it. Do everything you want to
do; take it all in. But remember that you must give an account to God for
everything you do” whether good or evil. Our service is dependent on our
relationship with God and personal integrity as there is a need to keep our
faith and our work with a clear conscience.
10 practical ways we can serve someone today:
1.  Start it in your family. (Romans 12:10)
When was the last time you cleaned the dishes or made dinner, not because it was
your turn, but just because you can? It’s easy to forget that the ones we need to serve
the most are often the ones closest to you. How would the attitudes in our homes
change if we started each day by asking, “How can I help you today?” then followed
through on the response.  Conclusion:
 2. Volunteer at community service outside of your work.  
Look for someone or a group of people in your community where you can extend your
capacity to help through your skill, talent, resources and strength by simply being there for
them when they needed the most.
3. Donate items to a homeless shelter.  (Matthew 25:46)
We all have more than we need. Get the family together and clean out the house
gathering clothes, toys, books and coats to donate.  
4. Send someone an encouraging message. (1 Thessalonians 5:11)
Encouragement is a gift we can give that costs us nothing. Pick a friend or family
member each week and send an email, text or handwritten note telling that person
you are proud of them, that you’re praying for them, or that you’re here to help. 
5. Deliver a meal. (Acts 20:35)
When you make dinner, double that recipe and take it to someone who may need a
helping hand. A busy mother, a sick friend, or an elderly neighbor would love a night
free from worrying about what’s for dinner. 
6. Watch someone’s kids. (Hebrews 13:16)
Do you know a young family that could use a date night? Call them up and offer to
babysit...for free! 
7. Help other people shine. (Philippians 2:3)
We want people to acknowledge our accomplishments and our successes, but in
Philippians, Paul tells us to consider others better than ourselves. Helping others
showcase their gifts and talents is an awesome way to serve someone else.   
8.  Listen. (James 1:19)
Take time to sit with your kids, a friend, your spouse, or a neighbor and just listen to
them. Make a point to put your own agenda aside, and focus on what someone else
has to say! 
9. Pay it forward. (Proverbs 11:24-25)
While in line at the grocery store, coffee shop, or a fast food place, pay for the
person behind you, no strings attached. Your generosity could make someone’s day.
10. Anticipate serving.  (Galatians 6:9)
One of the best ways to find opportunities to serve is ask God to give them to you.
God will definitely answer, so be ready to jump in whenever God nudges you.

Added distinct ideals for the officers, men and women of the PNP to
ensure efficiency, integrity, cohesiveness, camaraderie and equanimity to
enhance community acceptance and support to attain its mission of peace
keeping and law enforcement.
God because we serve and honor not just the people we work and interact
with but most especially the God Who is the creator of all things.
Having honor and respect means being polite and courteous to others –
those in authority – that God placed in our lives. It is honoring and valuing
friends and family and bring out the best in them.

The word “honor” means to look upon and deal with someone as a valued Conclusion:
individual. Honor is how we treat others. It comes from our honor and Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above
