Damper shall bear the official “UL Classified” sticker with the following data / information as a
minimum:

Smoke Damper
Smoke damper specific requirements are as follows:
a) Linkage shall be concealed in frame.

c) Provision of two position indicator switches linked directly to damper blades. This position
switch shall remotely provide indication of damper blade position.

Combination Fire-smoke damper


Combination fire-smoke damper specific requirements are as follows:
a) Maximum allowable static pressure drop across a combination fire-smoke damper shall not
exceed 0.1” wg at a face velocity of 1,000 fpm on a 24” x 24” section.
b) Combination fire-smoke damper and actuators shall have a UL 555S elevated temperature

5.2.3 Components Mounting

5.2.5 Components Actuators

5.2.8 Components Transition
