An occasion that was truly unforgettable for everyone

What occurred, and what motivates them to participate in this event? Did they have a
good time over the two days of intramurals?

SSG officials at National Christian Life College agreed to propose a proposal to make
this year 2022-2023 memorable by hosting intramurals for everyone. Indeed, it was first
denied by instructors owing to a restricted budget and the fact that we continue to struggle for
this covid. However, these young students were eager to undertake this event to demonstrate
that NCLCians are not only academically successful but also extraordinary athletes. Because
NCLC is a school that offers a sustainable learning method in addition to learning God's
truths. The teachers surely agreed with this event because most of the kids are fatigued with
academics and have few opportunities to improve their bodies.

Each team has had a long week to practice and train for the forthcoming event so that
everyone may have a spectacular performance on an intramural day.

On the first day, students were given tickets to spend on mini booths and food, such as
a cinema booth for students who enjoy watching movies and spending their day in a dark
chilly room with folks they enjoy spending time with. Having a crush or admirer is fairly
prevalent for kids throughout high school, therefore the love booth was designed for students
to show their adoration for their crush. Those brave enough for horror stuff, as well as those
who were not, made their way to the horror booth to enjoy a frightening atmosphere with
their friends. Finally, we realize that capturing photographs of this beautiful time is essential
so that we can reminisce with our friends, which is why teachers set up a photo booth.
Despite the huge wait, students still lined up to acquire a memory of a day well spent.

On the last day of the event, it was hosted in the Marikina Sports Center so that
parents could see what their children had prepared and practiced for. A parade is a typical
approach to start this event in intramurals, We'll see each team lined up by color with their
representative for the pageants wearing their representative sports attire, and of course, each
team has their distinct flair and charm to exhibit their ability and beauty. To prevent further
injuries for everyone, the MAPEH teacher led the Zumba with selected students to do the
"Galaw Pilipinas" dance and the competition began with a powerful yell competition.
Without a doubt, every team has slayed it; their practices are well worth it, as they
demonstrated really impressive performances; nevertheless, the blue team truly stood out in
their scream performance.

What is an intramural without a sporting competition? Volleyball, basketball, and

other Filipino classic games were played on the occasion. The first game that was held was
basketball. Each team displayed a very intense game that enthralled the crowd, and each team
went all out to cheer for their team colors, even though we knew only one for junior and
senior high school would win this basketball game. Surprisingly, green won the game for
pink vs green. At first, pink was far ahead of Green, but the green did not lose hope and
enjoyed the game, and they won. The scoring for senior high school basketball games was
always tied, so it was a very long game with a nice play because there was this one player on
the blue team who showed his skills in basketball that surprised the crowd, but of course, the
red team didn't give up and also showed their agility skills, but in the end, the blue team won
the basketball game and their team went crazy on the court and waved their flag to show their
support and pride to their teammates.

The volleyball game was incredibly fun to watch, albeit there was some confusion
since some players were committing fouls, but the referee disregarded it because the kids
were only novices and this was a friendly game. The pink team gained the title of champion
in junior high female volleyball, while the green team won in junior high boys volleyball, and
the green team won in senior high ladies' volleyball while the red team won in males
volleyball.

This event truly let everyone exhibit their hidden skills and how they can profit from
them. They met new acquaintances and had a great time embarking on a new adventure. This
event also tested how students use their time when studying while still having time for
practices and trainings. Furthermore, this event diverted all students' attention away from
their mobile devices to focus on their competition and how can these activities be successful
without the prayers and words of God that truly lead us in making this intramural an
unforgettable experience?
