Why is the research being conducted?

The objective of this research paper is for the student researcher to take learning outcomes
that they have achieved during their academic studies and apply them to a topic related to
their
employment, a contemporary aviation issue regarding utilising military facilities for civil
aviation.

Because the student researcher used to be a military pilot in an organisation in

Indonesia, conducting a study on the experiences of military and civil aviation stakeholders
seems to be adequate. The aim is to explore the experiences and perspectives of different
groups of people toward such a condition in utilising military aerodromes for civil aviation
to provide some
suggestions for policymakers regarding this issue.
What you will be asked to do

If you decide to participate, Mr Mohamad Pandu Adi Subrata will conduct a detailed interview
to capture ideas, concepts, opinions and views on various topics and areas related to
utilising military aerodromes for civil aviation. The interviews involve open questions that
allow you to state your experience utilising military aerodromes for civil aviation. The
interviews are expected to run for at most 30 minutes each. You do not need to answer all
questions, only those you can or
want to.

The expected benefits of the research.

The participant interviews will be anticipated to exhibit experiences and attitudes toward
utilising
military aerodromes for civil aviation. Participants'positive and negative experiences are
expected
to emerge and shed light on further improvement of drone delivery, especially for policymakers
and drone delivery service entrepreneurs; however, input from participants may deter that
outcome.

Participant data will be de-identified in research outputs.

Participants are anonymous and confidential. There is a limited risk that current or
previous employers and/or colleagues may identify your views and opinions expressed
during the interviews. However, the researchers will do everything practical to maintain
confidentiality and anonymity. The data will be secured at the Griffith University research
storage platform for five years following the completion of the project and then destroyed.
Only the primary investigator
and student researcher will have access to the data.

Your participation is voluntary.

Your participation in the study is completely voluntary, and you may choose to stop
participating
at anytime.
Research results.

This research results will be reported in an academic thesis and may also be disseminated
via journal articles and/or conference presentations. The participants are also possible to
access a
plain language summary of research results via email request to the researcher.
