Pomodoro Technique
What is the Pomodoro Technique?

The Pomodoro Technique is a time management system that encourages people to

work with the time they have—rather than against it. Using this method, you divide

your study time into 25-minute chunks, separated by five-minute breaks. These

intervals are called pomodoros. After about four pomodoros, you take a longer break

of about 15-20 minutes

Why the name pomodoro


The technique was developed in the late 1980s by the Italian Francesco

Cirillo.
He used a kitchen timer to organize his tasks his timer was shaped like a

tomato (pomodoro, in Italian)
