here today, good morning once again! I hope you all are comfortable and safe wherever you are currently in! Again, I am Mary Eve Escobido, a BSMA 2nd yr student, running for the position of the Executive Secretary. So, I believe that you all might be wondering that why I’m actually running for this position? To be honest, It took me a long time of self- reflection whether to take or leave this opportunity to serve the SPUD JPIA. Even with these previous leadership experiences I’ve attained from the past, I honestly can say that these don’t immediately equate that I’m a stellar kind of leader because I also have lapses or weaknesses. and I might not fit in the mainstream type of leader attributes like being bubbly or funniest or the “bibo” na type like ako ra ma offer usually is genuine advice and moral support. However, there is such a statement that “Leadership is not a one dimensional.” That said, to be of service for the SPUD JPIA, like even we have diverse past experiences or credentials or diverse personalities based from our line-up, one must be who willingly can inspire, transform and take the organization along to newer heights. I together with the rest of the running candidates, gladly take upon this new challenge in collaboration and coordination with the rest of the officers and members of JPIA by assisting in planning of future activities, meetings and such. Again, I’m not the perfect all-around type of individual and I’ve got a lot to improve in all aspects but I’m willing to learn from mistakes and accept any constructive criticism as I take my role to serve our fellow JPIANs. Thus, I’ll do my best with my utmost effort in contributing my assistance and service to the SPUD JPIA and looking forward to work with you all in the next school year. Once again, I am Mary Eve Escobido, running for the Executive Secretary. Thank you all JPIAns for listening and have a great day!
