If we want to ask for or give someone advice, we use SHOULD.

You shouldn’t eat fatty food.
‘OUGHT TO’ is a synonym expression, but more formal and not so commonly
used. It’s not normally used in the negative form.
You ought to study harder.
In pairs, tell your partner what you would advise someone with these
illnesses:
the flu see a doctor
a cold go to a dentist
a temperature stay in bed
a toothache drink lots of water
an earache take an aspirin
a headache
take antibiotics
a stomach ache
a backache put on a bandage
If you have a rash you should put on a plaster
measles you shouldn’t take some syrup
a sore throat go to hospital
a bad cough put on calming lotion
a swollen ankle eat lots of fruit
