Emergency Plan
Tie all Asbestos Containing Bags using the Following Method
In the case of potential exposure to asbestos dust the following procedure shall apply.

Step Task
1. If person has been covered in dust, wipe down any affected areas with
wet wipes
3. If the room has been majorly contaminated, wipe all affected areas and
get out of the room, closing doors and sealing them off behind you
around the edges with tape.
7. Update the Hazard board, erect danger tape if needed, to notify visitors
of potential contamination
8. Ring Health and Safety officer and supervisors, arrange for a clear air
test to be put through.
9. Do not re-enter site until cleared by the Health and Safety officer.

10. Fill out the accident report.
