CSC 508 Computer System Project Management (2 Units [2-0-0])

Learning Objectives
The course has been designed to provide students with knowledge and practical skills in developing a computer
system project from scratch to finish using different information technology applications. The course also takes
into consideration measurement of project quality and project management tools.

GRADING POLICY: (SUBJECT TO CHANGE)


A. Exercises or projects to be turned in for grade must be TURNED IN on Google Classroom. No credit will be
given for illegible work.
B. The tentative assignment and grade distributions are as follows: (Subject to Change)
I. Exams - The Final Exam is comprehensive.
Mid Semester Exam 20%
Final Exam: 60%
II. Class Attendance - Attendance will be taken during lecture which will serve as a bonus for punctual
students. 10%
III. Homework assignments: In general, homework assignments will be made during the class covering
a specific topic area and will be due one week after the assignment date. 10%
LATE ASSIGNMENTS:
All assignments and projects are due on the date established by the Instructor the due date. Your grade is based
on timely work accomplished during the semester. Late assignments are not acceptable for points.
EXAM POLICY:
The exams will be closed-book and closed-notes. The final exam will be comprehensive.
LECTURES AND READING:
You are expected to attend all classes. You are responsible for all material covered in the lecture, even if they
are not in the textbook. There will be material lectured on that does not appear in the textbook or any handout
that is given out.

Mon and Wed: 12 - 3pm. Always available immediately following class. Other times may be arranged by
