Greetings from Presidency School Bangalore South!

It has come to the notice of the school authorities that a number of children are driving scooters or motorcycles
to school. In addition to over speeding, children are often seen going doubles or even triple riding or driving
recklessly. The school is proactively taking measures to ensure safety of all children by checking vehicles/
helmets/license etc at the school gate.

A Driving License is an official document certifying that the holder is suitably qualified to drive a motor
vehicle. Henceforth children using two wheelers without a learner’s license and a helmet will be sent back
home. Electric vehicles less than 250 kv can be driven without a driver’s license, however helmet is mandatory.

In case your ward is attending tuitions or classes after school hours and have to use an electric vehicle less
than 250kv, kindly drop a mail to Principal ma’am at principal-blk@presidency.edu.in.

In case of any mishap there will be no liability of school authorities whatsoever for these violators.
