    INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION IN


    ADOPTED VILLAGES

    ‘MERI MAATI MERA DESH’


    The NSS department will be celebrating Independence Day in two of the College adopted
    villages around its rural campus on 20th August 2023 (Sunday).

    Reporting time and venue: 8:00 a.m. at Tollygunge Tram Depot


    Concluding time: 1.30 p.m.

    Venue for the programme: Nurshikdarchowk and Shalpukur villages

    Registration date: 10th August 2023


    A maximum of 60 students may register. (Bengali speaking students will be preferred
    as all the children in the villages speak only Bengali.)

    The links will be active on 10th August 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or
    till we have a total of 60 registrations.

    Final list of selected volunteers will be put up on the NSS notice board on:
    11th August 2023

    Orientation date: 14th August 2023

    Final meeting date: 17th August 2023

    Timings for Orientation & Final meeting:


    COMA – 10:15 a.m.
    B.A/B. Sc. – 12:45 p.m. (MMFI - 1:30 p.m.)
    CMEA/BMS –3:00 p.m.

    Social credit hours allotted – 10 hours
