2. Develop and Revise Curriculum within several different VA TAP modules – Develop learning
objectives, evaluation criteria and a general course outline for the curriculum with the
collaboration of the Government TAP training and curriculum lead
3. New Module Development – Supports developing learning objectives, evaluation criteria,
general curriculum outlines, training materials packages and instruction with the collaboration
of the Government TAP Training and Curriculum Lead
4. New Module Revision – Support revision of new modules developed, conduct technical review
of the new module, conduct deep dive review of the new module and produce revised
instruction and training materials package
5. New Module Training – Provide pre-training, classroom-based instruction, practice opportunities
and evaluation
6. Ability to relay technical information in a concise and simple format for trainees
7. Develop Aftermarket-specific internal training courses, Plan course curricula with department
domain experts, Write and edit course materials, using internal and external sources
8. Inventory management of Training assets, Classroom preparedness and readiness
9. Understand mechanical/industrial equipment in order to communicate and train selected
audiences (distribution, OEM’s, new sales personnel, etc)
10. Conduct training needs analysis to determine design needs, select strategies, and forecast
expense
11. Generate post training assessments and evaluations
12. Prepare course curriculum as required
13. Discuss departmental and interdepartmental training initiatives, program concepts and training
techniques with internal and external clients
14. Forecast training demand and develop a plan to address business needs
15. Evaluate training with participant feedback and field performance
16. Maintain technical training records and report service capability
17. Present training material in a professional, interesting, and stimulating manner
18. Conduct assessments in a professional, interesting, and stimulating manner
19. Initiate and direct technology development programs to enable new products and processes to
fulfill Diabetes Care strategic plan
20. Define, implement and manage the intellectual property strategy and processes
21. Lead technology sensing and sourcing activities for collaboration and commercialization
22. Maintain an overview of state-of-the-art technology development within the industry and its
impact on business operations and goals
23. Leads technical assessments and provides direction across multiple technology development
projects
24. Interfacing with Fab8 manufacturing and operations team to integrate technology development
needs into manufacturing responsibly, develop strategic business process to focus on new
material or tool introduction
25. Implement work-improvement methodologies & business processes to reduce waste,
defects/cost, improve overall cp/cpk, , and actively contribute to improving the overall
development environment and Fab8-wide dual mission
26. Documenting and validating process capability using statistical methods
27. Independently problem solve and perform root cause analysis for a wide range of engineering
activities
