Procedure :

1.1 Opening
 The teacher send link Zoom Meeting by WA group and ask to the
student to join the zoom meeting.
 The teacher start the class by saying Basmalah
 The teacher showing up the material that will be given in the meeting
while zoom meeting.

2.1 Material Explanation

 Giving Direction
 The teacher explains Giving Direction
 The teacher gives some vocabulary that commonly used in giving
direction material.
 The teacher gives the tasks that related to the material that has been
given by using website link; https://app.quizwhizzer.com/play?
code=34427 By explaining and giving examples of how to use it first.

3.1 How To Play Quizzwhizzer

 Open the quizzwhizer web link that has been given by the teacher.
 Write down your name.
 Waiting for the teacher/host start the quizwhizzer.
 When you have joined please answer questions as quickly as possible.
Because the faster you answer, the more points you get. Vice versa, the
longer the answer, the smaller the value obtained.
 There are 10 questions that you have to answer (10 for multiple choice
questions)
 You can see the score you got.
  Do the quiz until it's finished, and you will immediately know who the
winner is.
 The teacher will provide a link and students must join according to the
instructions given.

“GIVING DIRECTION”
A. Vocabulary

 Cross the road  (sebrangi jalan tersebut)

 Pass the bridge (lewati jembatan tersebut)
 Take the first road (ambil jalan pertama)
 Go straight/keep going/continue (jalan lurus/jalan terus)
 Turn left/right (belok kiri/kanan)
 Follow this road (ikuti jalan ini)

Go Straight
Straight artinya lurus. Saat kamu memberikan arahan untuk jalan lurus, ada beberapa
frasa yang bisa digunakan, yaitu:

 Go straight.
 Go along the road.
 Go down there.
 Go down or walk down the street.
 Go up or walk up the street.
 Keep walking ahead.
 Take this road.
 Walk to the corner.
 Follow this street for 300 meters.
 Follow the road until you get to the bank.

2. Turn
Seperti yang kita tahu, jalan tidak akan selamanya lurus. Ada kalanya kamu harus
menunjukkan belokan pada orang yang meminta petunjuk arah. Perhatikan
ungkapannya berikut ini:

 Turn right
 Turn left.
 Pass the bank and then turn left.
 Turn back.
 Go right/left at the end of the road.
 Take the first right.
 Take the first/second/third street on the left/right.
 Take the first left when you enter Steven Road.
  You need to take a left/a right at the next traffic lights.

3. Cross
Hmm, masih ingat apa arti dari cross? Yap! Cross adalah menyeberang. Bagaimana sih,
contoh frasa untuk memberikan petunjuk menyeberang? Lihat di bawah ini ya!

 Cross the pub.

 Pass the school.
 You will cross some traffic lights.
 Cross the taxi rank and you are there.
 Go over the bridge.

4. Location
Setelah memberikan petunjuk, biasanya saat giving direction, kita juga bisa
menegaskan lokasi tempat yang dituju oleh penanya, apakah sebelah kiri, sebelah
kanan, dan lain sebagainya. Nah, kamu bisa menunjukkannya dengan kalimat frasa
berikut:

 Between our office and the supermarket.

 On the right in between the pet shop and the grocery store.
 At the end of Sudirman Street.
 Just around the corner on the left/right side.
 Left around the corner next to the market.

5. Landmark
Sederhananya, landmark adalah kosakata penunjuk jalan atau penanda yang bisa
dijadikan sebagai patokan saat giving direction. Penanda ini bisa berupa
bangunan, public facility, jalan, nama tempat, dan masih banyak lagi. Contohnya
adalah:

 Traffic lights: Lampu lalu lintas

 Crossroads: persimpangan
 T-junction: Pertigaan
 Roundabout: Bundaran
 Signpost: Papan penunjuk jalan 
 Dead end: Jalan buntu 
 Flyover: Jembatan layang
 Bridge: Jembatan
 Mosque: Masjid
 Church: Gereja
