Job Title:- Senior Editor (Scroll.in)

Purpose of the job.

The Primary purpose of the job is to craft an executive editorial strategy.

Tasks, Responsibilities or Duties.

Looking at the kind of journalism Scroll publishes.
How To publish it and,most importantly, how much of it we have to publish.
Figuring out what editorial, marketing and communications strategies Scroll has
to follow.
Making sure the kind of journalism scroll does,it reaches the widest audience
possible.
Analyzing analytics.
Harmonizing the business and editorial visions and goals.
Crafting strategies to increase our reader/subscription revenue.
Ensuring that the audience stays loyal, especially the paying readers.
Developing new editorial products and services such as podcasts, newsletters,
membership events.

Qualifications:
Basic qualification: A journalist who has spent a considerable time in the
business.
Experience and Knowledge of the industry. A sense of how everything works and
how it can be improved.
