3 important things to know about new


Open edX courses

When you first create a course in Open edX,


there are a few important things you'll have
to be aware of. These are some default
configurations that you might miss if you're
going full steam ahead on creating content.

Management System) and navigate within
your course to the Instructor dashboard.

Between the quotes, enter your new course


name. Don't forget to hit Save Changes
after.

list with the new name!

you can manage all the files you add to your
course.

To the right of a file upload there are four


buttons, Studio URL, Web URL, the Delete
button and the Lock/Unlock button. Next, you'll see an Upload Completed
window. From here you can either choose
