I. Areas Identified for Development of Professional Practice with Technology (Areas in which you need/want professional
development)

No. Areas Identified for Development Rationale/Sources of Evidence (why?)

1 Integrating a classroom assessment app Turban (2016) states, “Digital technology and phone applications are now increasing
in usage in today’s society, because of their convenience, accessibility, and plentiful
services and offerings, which are extremely useful in many different settings.”
This application can develop a platform for students to be able to offer ongoing
feedback, ask questions, and interact with their classmates on a daily basis.

2 Developing a new software for the class I have personally been apart of a classroom setting where all assignments must be
submitted through the same software, along with all open discussions, grades, in-
class assignments, and group activities. It helped me become more technologically
proficient, as well as being able to use and learn technology with my peers.
3 Integrate an e-book E-books and E-readers are developmental tools of professional practice with
technology. All assigned readings can be with an e-book. It can include areas to take
notes, make highlights, input comments, or make changes and updates to save and
revisit at any time. These mandatory reading assignments obligate students to
interact with technology on a consistent basis.
