Educational Technology for Teachers


Course Description  This course provides an overview of various technology methods and
(‫)وصف المادة‬: explores the utilization of technology as means to facilitate instruction to
maximize learning outcomes. The purpose of the course is to broaden
teachers’ perspective of the important role technology plays in meeting
the various needs of our diverse learners.
Course Objectives (  Students will explore fundamental principles and theories related to the
‫)اهداف المادة‬: utilization of technology in education.
 Students will discover applications of the course material to improve
their decision making in choosing the most effective and useful
educational technology tool that would lead to maximizing the learning
outcomes.
 Students will transfer theoretical knowledge to real life of the theories
they learn through projects, case studies and presentations.
 Students will appreciate the importance of the underlying theories
related to educational technology in decision-making processes in the
field of education.

Course Outcomes A student who successfully fulfills the course requirements will have
