Detailed Purpose of the Project

Please describe the intended purpose of the project, in correlation with your communication with
stakeholders. This purpose statement should constitute a paragraph of at least three sentences
describing the “Why” behind this endeavor.

Detailed Purpose of the Project
In the forever changing world, technology is constantly
evolving making the way we communicate, learn, and
work change. Therefore, I am presenting my project to
my preschool administrators to include technology tools
as additional support within the classroom. Often
technology within my preschool is viewed as screen time
and not as an educational enhancement to the learning
environment. Although, as educators we must rely
heavily on technology to help support the way we
instruct and teach our students. As the times change,

 early educators must seek new technology tools to help
present more personalized learning for students who are
growing in this modern world.

Detailed Overarching Goals

Please describe the overarching goals of the project, in correlation with your communication
with stakeholders. You should include at least five detailed goals, written in complete sentences.

Detailed Overarching Goals
Goal 1: Present project proposal to the Head of School
for Academics, Head of Preschool, Assistant Head of
Preschool/Instructional Coach, and Tech Department.
This would be a scheduled meeting in which I would
present research and examples on how effective
technology can be in preschool environments.

Goal 2: Once approved, I will work on establishing

classroom iPads with Tech departments to include a few
known applications for student-centered learning.

Goal 3: Build a training program/presentation to present

to teachers with Tips and Tricks on iPads in the
classroom.

Goal 4: With the assistance of the tech department, I will

present information over iPads in the classroom through
tutorials, walk throughs and already created Tips and
Tricks videos over certain apps on the iPads. I would
also, record the training and send it out to teachers, in
case they need refreshers throughout the school year. At
the end of the training, I would allow for teachers to play
and use the tools. This would allow me to support while
information is fresh on their brains.

Goal 5: Implement iPads into classroom rotational

centers to allow for students to develop, reinforce, and
learn in theory working on certain skills.

Milestone Item: Gain approval for iPad Implementation in

Preschool classrooms from stakeholders.

Milestone Item: Working alongside the Tech department, we

would complete the set-up of classroom iPads to include student Date: 8-19-22
friendly applications, as well as known tool used in the classroom.

Milestone Item: Research and complete iPad training presentation

along with pre-made Tips and Tricks videos.

Milestone Item: Host iPad training for preschool teachers.

Furthermore, present and support teachers on the new technology Date: 9-14-22
integration into preschool classrooms.

Milestone Item: All preschool classrooms willingly would be
