Section 3: Identifying Learning Needs
Strengths
I use different digital communication channels and tools
(Zalo, Messenger, Gmail) depending on the context to
communicate with students and their parents. I can also
select the most appropriate channel, format and style to
communicate effectively.
Sometimes I find digital resources for teaching using
simple internet search strategies to identify digital content
relevant for teaching and learning.
I am aware of common educational platforms which
provide educational resources such as Live worksheet and
British Council.
I use digital communities (Facebook groups) to explore
new pedagogic resources or methods and to get ideas.
I sometimes use digital materials in my classes.
Limitations
I haven't used digital technology in managing my class to
make administrative procedures more transparent for
learners and parents.
I'm aware that sometimes I don't keep up with latest
teaching resources or digital tools. Moreover, I sometimes
had difficulty in assessing the digital resources to apply in
my teaching.
I hardly share and exchange the resources I use or teaching
ideas.
