Objective: To showcase the skills and knowledge gained by the students in the Advertising
Principles and Practices course through an integrated culminating activity.
Proposed Date: June 3, 2023
Duration: 3 hours
Activities:
Advertising Campaign Presentation (1 hour) There will be 8 groups to present. Each group
will choose a product or service to create an advertising campaign for. Each group should present
their campaign to the class, explaining the target audience, objectives, creative elements, and
media channels used. The presentation should be in the form of a multimedia pitch with a
maximum duration of 10 minutes per group.
Branding Exercise Exhibit (1 hour - The outputs will be accomplished before the culmination)
The groups will create a branding exercise for a new product or service. Each group should
present their branding exercise through an exhibit, which should include a brand name, logo, and
positioning statement, as well as design packaging and other promotional materials. The exhibit
should be set up in a designated area of the room.
Case Analysis (1 hour - The outputs will be accomplished before the culmination) Each group
will choose a real-world advertising campaign to analyze. The group should present their
findings to the class, which should include evaluating the objectives, creative elements, media
channels, and results of the campaign. The presentation should be in the form of a multimedia
pitch with a maximum duration of 5 minutes per group.
Assessment:
Each activity will be assessed based on the following criteria:

Branding Exercise
 Exhibit Brand Name (20%)

 Positioning

Overall, the group's grades will be based on the combined scores of the three activities, with a
total weight of 100%.

In this connection, we would like to request the reservation of Room M207-M208 in Trinidad
Municipal College for our culminating program on June 3, 2023.

I believe the location is ideal for our event, and we would be grateful if you could confirm the
availability of Room M207-M208 for the said date. We anticipate that the program will run from
8:00 PM to 11:30 AM, and we expect to have approximately 110 attendees, including our course
instructor and the judges requested from the part-time instructors.

I, personally, will ensure that the venue will be used responsibly.
