India’s Unemployment Rate First Advance Estimates (FAE) of national income for the fiscal
year 2022–2023 at both constant (2011–12) and current prices
have been released by the National Statistical Office (NSO), a part
of the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation.
Key Points:
• These estimates, which are essential components of the
budgeting process, are created utilising the Benchmark-
Indicator Method based on limited data.

performance of different sectors are used to expand the
estimates from the previous year.
