Statement of the Problems:

Generally, this study aims to investigate the challenges faced by reading


teachers of Pag-asa Elementary School as well as the coping strategies they employ
to overcome those challenges.

Specifically, it seeks to answer the following research questions.

1. What are the primary challenges encountered by reading teachers in their


classroom?

2. How do reading teachers perceive the impact of these challenges on


learners’ achievement?

3. What coping strategies do reading teachers employ to address the


challenges they face in reading instruction?

4. How effective are these coping strategies in mitigating the challenges


faced by reading teachers?

5. Are there any differences in the challenges and coping strategies reported
by reading teachers at different grade levels in elementary?
PROPOSED TITLE # 2:
Fuller Method: A Tool in Improving the Reading Skills of Grade 2 Pupils
in Pag-asa Elementary School

Statement of the Problems:

Generally, this study aims to determine the effects of Fuller Method as a tool
in teaching reading to the Grade 2 Pupils of Pag-asa Elementary School.

Specifically, this study attempts to answer the following questions.

1. What is the reading skill level of the Grade 2 pupils before using the Fuller
method in terms of
1.1 Word Recognition
1.2 Comprehension?

2. What is the reading skill level of the Grade 2 pupils after using the Fuller
method in terms of
2.1 Word Recognition
2.2 Comprehension?

3. Is there a significant difference on the reading skill level of the Grade 2


pupils before and after using the Fuller method?

4. What are the learning developments of the pupils in reading after using the
Fuller method?
