Abstract

1. How the town was at the beginning

The town was full of life, its plantations were very productive, the animals had many

offspring and the whole place was prosperous, flourished, its flowers, it’s very green

pastures and beautiful flowers and the birds sang everywhere filling the place with much

happiness for your beautiful songs.

2. How it is now

Now it is a dead town, full of diseases, the plantations do not grow and the whole place

looks withered and lifeless. the birds no longer sing like before and you don't feel joy but

sadness in the town

3. How it is predicted to be in the future

In the future there will be no life, because the damage that was caused in the present will

greatly affect the future of the town, no being could be there because the existing plagues

will kill them

4. A fable is a story with a lesson; so, in your opinion What is the lesson that this fable

teaches? (One or two lines)

You cannot make a better comparison of the fable with our reality, we live in a world full

of plagues that affect the life of this world but the worst plague, is us as human beings, we

are the greatest destroyers of all-natural beauty.


Brainstorm: “A Fable for tomorrow” shows how people intervention or settlements have

caused irremediable consequences in a town; nowadays, overpopulation and consumerism

has accelerated the development of factories that pollute and overexploit non-renewable

natural resources, causing irreparable damage to our environment

The way your region, It was a region full of great diversity in birds, in flora and
town or city was before in productions for human consumption. we had a flagship
of the municipality which is currently extinct, a
municipality with a lot of culture and diversity.

The way it is now Now we no longer have so much diversity in animals and
flora, the productions of human sustenance are not as
productive, the land has a strong destruction due to the
inappropriate use of agrochemicals
Predictions how it will be the future is a great mystery, no human being will be able
in the future. to decipher what awaits us in the future, therefore we must
live the present with all that it brings
Composition: According to the information above, write a three-paragraph fable where

you explain how overharvesting and/or industrialization have affected the region where you

live, use pictures to illustrate your fable (you can take as example the text “a fable for

tomorrow”)

María remembers how her town used to be full of life, the great flora and fauna that the

place had and all the cultural diversity that existed from her ancestors, in the place she felt

very calm, clean air, crystal clear waters and the sound of the wonderful song of the birds.

Over time and with technological advances, all the natural beauty of its municipality was

disappearing, thus leading to polluted waters, overexploitation of the soil, burning and

contamination of all natural resources, losing all its natural beauty.

And the question is, what will happen next?
