THE GRADES OF GRADE 10 PONCE IN

MAPEH MUSIC 3RD QUARTER

I.BACKGROUD OF THE STUDY

The Music and Arts Program seeks to expose students and develop appreciation for Philippine,
Asian, and Western music, Students not only acquire factual and theoretical knowledge but are also
introduced to applications like singing, playing Filipino and Asian instruments, listening to
recordings, and reading, writing and creating music. There are many students that like music and
arts and think that music is easy, However there are also students that are uninterested and are
having trouble understanding/learning mapeh music therefore we must help and improve the
students in learning mapeh music.

II. STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

This mini-research will determine the performance of
Grade 10 Ponce Students in MAPEH MUSIC at BNSHI for the 3rd quarter of S.Y. 2020-2021.

II . SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

The researcher may be able to identify students who need support and those who are having
trouble with this subject. This will reveal whether or not the students in Grade 10 ponce class
are having a hard time in MAPEH MUSIC.

IV. METHODOLOGY
A. Research Design
This is quantitative research. Documentary analysis was used in
conducting this mini- research.
B. Participants/Respondents
Grade 10 Ponce at BNSHI School.
C. Data Gathering
The data were taken from the teacher's class record.

V. RESULTS AND FINDINGS
The class has an average of 89.96 or 90% in Mapeh music.
75% of the students (?) have an score of less than or equal to 96% of the students.
Erika's grade (93%) is 16.64 or 17th out of all Grade 10 ponce

V. CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION

Based on the results, Grade 10 Ponce got a High mastery level of performance for the third quarter
in Mapeh music. There are Plenty of students who passed and there are also students who got a
failing grade.
For the students who passed they should continue what they are doing while to those who got a
failing grades they should study more and improve.
