1. This office announces the conduct of the Diutsfon ftnaz screening /or speciaz
Scze7ice Czasses Sc7iooz yeczr 2023-2024.

2. Please see attached Hst of schedules for your reference. The school will arrange or
provide the transport vehicle for the test materials and the examiners within the mainland
in Cebu Province.

3. Teaching personnel performing as examiners/proctors/ checkers to render service in

cormecti!orL to the corfu:ct of the " DwisiorL Final Screening for Special Science Czasses
School yecir 2023-2024 " shall be entitled to service credits tantamount to the services
rendered during non-working days, per DepEd Order No. 53, s.2023 (Updated Guidelines
on Grant of vacation Service Credits to Teachers), while Division Office persormel can avail
of Compensatory Time Off (CTO) under the provisions of CSC & DBM Joint Circular No.2,
s.2004 (Non-Monetary Remuneration for Overtime Services Rendered ).

4. To ensure the safety, health, and well-being of an examinees, observance ofmininum

health protocols shall be implemented such as, but not limited to, social distancing, body
temperature monitoring, and sanitation of testing rooms in compliance with the existing
rules and regulations set forth by the Inter-Agency Task Force ( IA:TF ).

5. Expenses relative to the conduct of this activity shall be chargeable against the
Division MOOE/Local School MOOE or any available funds, subject to the usual accounting
and auditing rules and regulations.

6. This will serve as a " Travel Authority " to those who will faciHtate and assist the
conduct of the testing/ screening.

7. Immediate dissemination of and compliance with this Memorandum is directed.
