Job Description:
 Installation of Generator and Synchronizing Panel
 Testing and Commissioning of Generator and Synchronizing Panel which
includes: ACB/VCB trip unit test, I.R. test and contact resistance testing. Genset
main stator I.R. test. Start-up of Genset from gradual increase of speed until
rated at 1800 RPM and rated Voltage. Simulation of protective devices such as
over/under voltage, over/under speed, cooling temperature high, oil pressure low,
and emergency stop. Load Bank testing from gradual increase of load until
100%. Genset Synchronization at no-load and loaded condition.
 Generator Alternator Preventive Maintenance testing such as windings I.R.,
Contact, Polarity Index, and Surge Test. Rectifier Diode forward and reverse
diode testing.
 Synchronizing panel preventive maintenance which includes ACB/ VCB trip test,
I.R. test and contact resistance test. Protection relay test such as over/under
voltage, over/ under current and differential relay that includes CT ratio test. Fine
tuning of Genset voltage and speed for the efficiency of synchronization at
loaded and no-load conditions.
 Upgrading of Genset Local Control Panel and Synchronizing Panel.
 Troubleshooting and repair of related Synchronizing Panel and Genset concern
 Generator Operation and Preventive Maintenance Orientation (Presenter).
 Scheduling of Testing and Commissioning, Preventive Maintenance,
Troubleshooting & Repair to the Service Engineers, Subcontractors and Clients.
 Reporting to the Service and Parts Manager the status of Client’s under contract
and One time Installation and repair during weekly meeting.
