1. What is your perception on the given statement? Expound further your idea by
providing a certain situation.

“Language is a complex social activity”

 Language is a complex social activity, because we can express our

feelings or emotions to others by using socializing. We can explain our
message to them in a clearly way, they will be better understand of what we
trying to imply to them or what the message is all about.

2. How would you differentiate the following aspects of language? Elucidate each
aspect and stipulate at least (1) specific example to support your answer.

2.1 form/structure

The form/structures to me is like a puzzle you need to find the parts of each
pieces of the puzzle, and you will see the main product until you finish it.

2.2 Meanings

The Meanings to me is a deep definition of a words or a sentence, If they briefly

explain the situation, you can easily understand it.

Example:
“Can you get my pencil”
“Can you handed to me the pencil”
2.3 functions

The Functions for me is like a thing that you will find a source of how you gonna
use it in a right way. Also how you can manage that one thing without harm.

3. How significant is linguistic knowledge in understanding a particular language? Your

explanation should focus on the following concepts: knowledge of sound system,
knowledge of words, knowledge to create, and knowledge of sentences and non-
sentences.

 If we significant understand the particular language, we can fully derive the

knowledge by ourselves that we learn by communicating in others. We can
explain to them in a easiest way, because we clearly bear in our minds the
complete knowledge that we learn to the concepts of a language.

 The knowledge of sound system helping you to improve your

speaking skills the way you derive those words with a better sounds.

 The knowledge of word for me is helping you to explore some

vocabulary.

 The knowledge to create is how will you manage the language or

sentence with guidance.

 The knowledge of sentences is a way to be more skillful and also to

be creative in some set of words that you will build it a sentence.

 Non Sentence is your guide to create a perfectly set of words, with

no grammatically error sentences.
