1. Explain what the ‘design process’ is.
2. Draw the diagram (bottom of page 2) to explain all the stages of the design
process.
3. What is the difference between need and want in the design process?
4. Different people have different needs. Complete the grid below giving as much
information as possible as to what the user may ‘need’ from a bag to carry their
items throughout the day. Then draw an example of the kind of bag that would be
most suitable to meet their needs.
