Participants of the Study

The researchers will utilize non-probability sampling technique or method. According to

Kassiani Nikolopoulou (2022), non-probability means a sampling method that uses non-random

criteria like the availability, geographical proximity, or expert knowledge of the individuals you

want to research to answer a research question in determining the research participants.

On the other hand, Kothari (2022), defines purposive sampling as the technique of how

the researchers select the person or the group as the sample based on their purposes and

opinions refers to a group of non-probability sampling techniques in which units become

selected.

Hence, to be a participant in this study, the students need to meet the following

qualifications namely, officially enrolled at Asian Development Foundation College A.Y. 2022-

2023, residing in Northern Tacloban areas (Brgy 12 Palanog, Cabalawan, Ridgeview, Suhi, Old

and New Kawayan, Villa Diana, GMA Kawayan, Tagpuro, Sta Elena); students who commutes

to school, and finally learners who have an early class schedule.

Specifically, the researchers will identify 30 participants for this study. According to

Academia (2023), 30 participants seem to be an ideal sample size for the most comprehensive

view in qualitative research.
