Objective:

At the end of the lesson the students are expected to:

a. Identify weather disturbances in the Philippines

b. Create scenario during coming of weather disturbances and safety measures.

c. Value the importance of disaster risk safety measures.

Preliminary Activities:

 Observe Cleanliness

 Checking of Attendance

 Review: ask students to recall the different weather disturbances they have experienced in the
Philippines.

Subject Matter:

Topic: Weather disturbances in the Philippines and their effects to people daily lives.

Reference: S5FE-IVb-2

Materials: Cut-out pictures, Visual aids.

Motivation:

The teacher will show pictures or videos of past weather disturbances in the country.

- Ask students to share their personal experiences during a weather disturbance.

- Discuss the importance of understanding weather disturbances and their effects on daily life.

Activity:

- Divide students into groups and assign each group a specific weather disturbance (e.g. typhoon,
thunderstorm, tornado, etc.).

- Role-playing activity where students act out scenarios during different weather disturbances and
