Opening Activities
Warm up (5 minutes): Play the lets shake hands song, sing and dance all together.
Review (5 minutes): show the students the singular Nature vocabulary and ask them
What is it? Then, show them the plural nature vocabulary and ask them what are they?
Then, ask individually.
C) Middle Activities: Free Practice
Listening (10 minutes): Put on the board two pictures of each nature vocabulary
(ladybug, caterpillar, butterfly, frog) one in singular and the other in plural. Divide the class
in two teams, you will say a sentence and the first student to touch the picture related to
that sentence is the winner. When they have touched the picture ask them What are they
or what is it? Encourage them to answer correctly.
Speaking (10 minutes): Track 35
Speaking (10 minutes): Have the students make a circle, give them a bag full of pictures
with singular and plural nature vocabulary, play a music and they have to pass the bag,
when the music stops, they have to take a picture and everyone is going to ask what is it?
Or what are they?
Speaking (playing with a dice 10 minutes): Give the students a dice with pictures of
plural nature vocabulary, they have to pass the dice and when the music stops who has
the dice has to throw it and everyone is going to ask what are they?
Writing make a Bingo (10 minutes): Explain the students that they have to draw 4 nature
pictures in their notebooks, they can color them.
Listening (10 minutes): You are going to say they’re and if they have that picture they
win a point.
D) Closing activities:
Evaluation speaking (10 minutes): Tell the students draw a something related to the
nature and complete the following sentence They’re ____ they have to present their work.
Speaking (10 minutes): Explain them that you are going to play a music and they have to
walk around the classroom. When the music stops they have to face a classmate ask them
what are they?
