Body of the Story

Churchofchristjesus.org, Chapter
39: Jesus heals a blind man

What was all that noise? It was a crowd, a huge crowd of people - and they
were following Jesus! Bartimaeus put down his begging bowl. He knew that
name! Jesus had healed people who couldn’t hear and walk and…

‘ Jesus’ he shouted. ‘I’m over hear!’

People tried to ssshhh him. But the blind man knew who Jesus was. He knew
that Jesus could heal him too.

‘JESUS!’ he shouted even more loudly. ‘I’m over hear!’

Jesus stopped to listen. ‘What can I do for you?’ he asked.

‘Please- I just want to see!’ the man said.

Jesus healed him. The first thing Bartimaeus saw when his eyes were opened
was the kind smiling face of Jesus. Then Bartimaeus joined the crowd of people
following Jesus along the road.
