Pricing and Quotations
Most projects are priced on a quotation basis.
Source fles reviewed
When available, we prefer to review the source fles, not the fnished product
(e.g. a PDF fle or a printed version).
Print: For print, this generally means FrameMaker, QuarkXPress, PageMaker, nDesign or Word fles.
Web: For websites, we prefer to have the client provide a complete copy of the site on CD or via FTP.
Software and HeIpIes: For these projects we need access to all source fles.
The work is quantifed
Work is quantifed in hours and words, with the rates being determined by:
language, subject matter, volume, and turnaround time.
ssues identifed
Any project management or linguistic issues are discussed upfront.
Written proposal is created
The ALTA proposal will detail full costs and approaches to handling issues
that were discussed. All quotations are free.
