The two line graphs illustrate the proportion of electronic devices and how

much time was spent doing housework and household in one country from
1920 to 2019.
Overall, there was a significant increase in the percentage of electricity
used in the three appliances examined, while the amount of time gradually
declined.
In 1920, the proportion of refrigerators stood at 1 % lowest of 3 services,
after which it experienced a dramatic rise to 90%, before reaching a peak
at 100% in 1980 and stable until the end of the period. Similar changes, but
to a lesser extent were seen in the figures for the vacuum cleaner,
increasing significantly from 30% in 1920 to 100% in the last two years of
the period.
On the other hand, the share of washing machines was highest in the first
years at 40%, followed by an increase to 70% in 1960, then a decline to
64% in 2000 and a final slight rise to 72% at the end of the period, lower
than other appliances. In contrast, the amount of time a family spent on
housework fell sharply from 50% in 1920 to only 10% in 2019.
