Dear parents,

The Examination department would like to inform you that the registration for the upcoming
October/November exam is to be done in July 2023.

Entry deadline for Cambridge examination is 5th of July 2023. After the final entry closing date CAIE
will charge late fee for any new entries you make, as well as for any entry amendments or syllabus
changes. Entries or changes received after the advertised deadlines can cause disruption to carefully
scheduled processes and cause significant extra work. Late entry fees are therefore applied to
recover the costs of additional processing requirements, and to encourage the submission of entries
by the advertised closing dates.

Requisition form for the exam registration is also attached to this letter. This requisition form will show
the complete details regarding exact fee to be paid, Bank A/C number and the deadlines to submit the
form. Hard copy of the above mentioned form will be available in the school office and can be
collected from the reception.

Requisition form duly filled should reach this office by the date mentioned above supported by the
proof of exam fee paid and with the relevant documents. Kindly read the instructions before you fill in
the form

An approximate calculation of fee to be paid is as shown below.

IGCSE - O_Level - KES.8,400/= per subject (times number of subjects they intend to do) +
KES.13,100/= as administration fee + KES. 5,400/= as KNEC registration fee. If a candidate wishes to
do any subject such as Art & Design, ESL, French, Food & Nutrition, German, Music and Spanish will
have to pay an additional fee to conduct/evaluate the Oral examination by the external examiner.

GCE - AS/A_Level - Cambridge - KES.9,600/= per subject per level(times number of subjects they
intend to do) + KES.13,100/= as administration fee + KES. 5,400/= as KNEC registration fee. If a
candidate wishes to do the subject such as Art & Design, French, Music and Media Studies will have
to pay an additional fee to conduct/evaluate the Oral examination by the external examiner.

Exact calculations of fee for a candidate can be done using the requisition form given to your child or
using the form attached to this letter.

Also reminding you that the examination registration process will be through only if the school
fee is paid on time.
