Iam directed to refer letter of Knowledge platform in collaboration with AFS Asia
Kakehashi Scholarship Program. This initiative, sponsored by the Government of Japan, aims to
foster intercultural exchange and understanding between Japanese high school
students and
teenagers from other Asian countries. The Asia Kakehashi Program offers a unique opportunity for
your students to immerse themselves in Japanese culture, attend a Japanese high school, and
develop leadership skills. Through this fully funded program, students will have the chance to live
in a dormitory or with a host family, participate in local community activities, and gain exposure to
Japanese industries.
Program Highlights:
"Attend Japanese high school and experience the local community
"Participate in international camps alongside Japanese high school students
"Engage in activities to learn about Japanese society, values, and leadership
development
"Contribute to education about their own culture and country
" 100% Fully Funded Scholarship Program
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the program in 2023,applicants must meet the following criteria:
"Age between 15 and 18 (bom after April 2, 2005, and before April 1, 2008)
"Legal citizen of Pakistan
" Minimurm of 60% marks in all subjects in the latest examination at school
" Overall minimum average of 60% marks in all subjects for the past two years
Learners of Japanese
" Have not participated in the Asia Kakehashi program before
