    Greetings!

    I am Shahana M. Villarba, 23 years of age, single, Filipino and a graduate of Bachelor of Science in
    Criminology last April 2018. I had passed the Criminologist Licensure Examination given by the
    Professional Board of Criminology last December 2018 with a general rating of 78.85%. The Bureau of
    Fire Protection is devoted to safeguarding life, establishment, and environment throughout the city,
    neighboring provinces and towns that are in need. This is a great responsibility and lifetime commitment
    that I am willing to partake, thus, I would like to apply for Fire Officer 1.

    Having been part of DILG’s Contact Tracing Team from October 2020- December 2021, it made me
    realized that helping and protecting others is more satisfying than prioritizing your own personal needs.
    As a Contact Tracer, we did a lot of works that measured our patience and perseverance, and I am proud
    to say that I passed them with flying colors. I am self-assured that my skills, aptitude, as well as my
    knowledge would indeed be an exceptional match for this position that your respected Bureau of Fire
    Protection requires in every applicant for Fire Officer 1 to be able to effectively serve the interest of the
    community and promote the general welfare of the society.

    I am excited and thrilled to contribute my abilities, talents, and proficiency in motivation towards
    teamwork and team effort in the department. I believe that my focus in building strong and professional
    relationship with my colleagues has been a beneficial asset throughout my career.

    For all the above reasons, I am confident that you will find me to be a compelling candidate for the
    position and it would be my deepest gratitude to be a part of the Bureau of Fire Protection. My
