1. OBJECTIVE

1.1. To establish a detailed method describing how to perform installation works for Pole
lighting foundation fixtures in order to assure in compliance with the approved drawing
and specification.

2. Method
SCOPE Statement for Lighting Pedestals and Poles Installations
OF WORKS

2.1. This method statement covers all the requirements for fixing, termination, inspection
and test procedure for material and installation of Pole lighting fixtures.

2.2. The scope of the work included under this specification shall include complete Pole
Lighting Fixtures works as shown on the drawing and specified herein.

2.3. Details of installation and material requirements are reflected on approved shop Drawing
and material submittal.

3. DEFINITIONS

3.1. Documents information & its support medium, such as HDEC project quality plan, quality
procedure, work procedure, method statement, quality plan for the site activity (ITP).
Process map, record, specification, drawing, report and standard etc. The medium may
be paper, magnetic, electronic or optical computer disc, photograph or master sample
or combination thereof.

3.2. HDEC Project Quality Management Plan (QMP), a documents stating the quality policy
and objectives of the HDEC, Hamad Medical City-CP 300B Hospital Fit Out Project. It
describes the quality system and procedures of an organization which may be used for
internal and external purposes.

3.3. Quality System Procedure, a documents specifying which procedure and associated
resources shall be applied by whom and when to specified product, process or contract.

3.4. Work Procedure (WP) Method Statement, a documents setting out the specific quality
practices, resources and sequences of activity relevant to a particular project. It is meant
for the construction engineers and workers to follow when they perform a specific job.

3.5. Quality Plan (ITP) for site activity, a document setting out the inspection and test point
and the acceptance criteria at the completion or after a series of process activity for
ensuring that the document reflects all current requirements.

3.6. Uncontrolled Copy of documents which is produced for information and reference
purpose only. No distribution and replacement is required for updating of them.
